Lee Sokol, of AB Tech's Culinary Department sent out the following announcement and Thursday, November 5, 2009 Northeast U.S. Buffet Lunch & Dinner Menu.
Continuing with tradition, we will offer buffet service for both lunch and dinner in the Magnolia dining rooms. The buffet will include appetizers, soup, salads, entrees, side dishes, desserts and beverages. The price will be approximately $ 9.95. We will be glad to take reservations for tables of two to eight persons.
As well as our wonderful Magnolia buffet service, we now take great pride in providing exceptional service and cuisine in the Fernihurst dining rooms. This season's evening dining experience in Fernihurst is a three-course meal consisting of a choice of three appetizers, six entrees and three desserts representing the weekly themed cuisine, plus coffee or tea. The price will be based on the entree of choice and include all three courses. The price will range from approximately $ 13.95 to $ 15.95. For evening dining in Fernihurst, we can accept limited reservations for parties of two to six persons.
Reservations are required and may be made by calling Lee Sokol at 254-1921 ext.244 after 10:00 AM on the Monday of the week you would like to dine. Seating for the lunch buffet in Magnolia will be at 12:00, 12:30 and 1:00 PM. Seating for the dinner buffet in Magnolia will be at 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00 PM. Seating for the evening dinner service in Fernihurst will be at 6:00 and 6:30 PM.
Please be aware that reservations usually go very quickly, so we recommend that you call as close to 10:00 AM on Mondays as possible. Also, please be aware that we do not accept credit cards. Payment can be made with cash or check.

Being a born and bred New Englander, I was curious what their menu would be. Agree with all except "New England Cheese Pie". What in the world is that I wonder??? Must google...
Ok, apparently, it was popular in the 1800s. Guess that's why I don't remember it! LOL
